RRickman Crokinole
If creating bespoke furniture is my job, then making crokinole boards must be my hobby and passion. I love making these boards and work on them whenever I have any free time. Each one is totally unique and made using the same exotic veneers as my commissioned furniture pieces. Every board is carefully handcrafted and made to official tournament sizes.

I hand cut stunning real wood veneers, and then inlay boxwood and ebonised timber string lines (no printed lines on these boards!) Each one is finished to a high shine and then waxed and buffed, giving a superior playing surface. Every process is by my own hands.

For storage and display purposes there is a brass hanging hook recessed into the back of the board, when the board is not in use it can be displayed safely on your wall. A beautiful piece of art and an eye catching conversation piece

My boards are limited edition and I aim to craft a set every year.

Rickman Crokinole Au
This series released 2023 is titled Au, and denotes the gold centre to the 20 hole. Boards are individually numbered and have a brass hanging plate on the back so you can proudly display it on your wall. All are hand made and one of a kind crafted by myself with hand cut veneers and inlaid solid timber lines. My boards ultimate forte is the super high gloss finish involving many many coats of lacquer which are buffed and polished to a very high level. Each high gloss board comes with 24 buttons in your choice of colours from available stock. I have imported sets of natural, black, green, yellow, blue and red direct from Tracey boards in Canada.
