Rickman Furniture is a specialist furniture maker. We take the project from planked timber to the finished article, using the most suitable techniques and materials, both traditional and modern.
A large percentage of our work is for interior design companies with the pieces destined for properties in London and abroad. These often come drawn with all details, materials, and finishes specified.
In contrast, we also take on jobs starting with no more than a conversation with the client, then take them through the design process producing samples and drawings for their approval.

Design
Full design service with cad drawings. Tell me what you have in mind and together we can make it a reality. My designs have been well received. I try not to be influenced by any singular style and draw influence from each pieces local environment whilst considering the clients needs, taste and budget. Often incorporating detail in a variety of complimentary materials such as metal, leather, and specialist finishes.
Restoration
It's great when a nice antique turns up at the workshop. Whatever the level of restoration required I'll sympathetically restore it to full functionality. So whether you have snapped a leg off your dining chair, spilt nail polish on the table, or your dresser needs sprucing up give us a call or email a photo.

Furniture
Although not a standard joinery firm, we are sometimes called upon when there are more unique pieces that a joinery company is not set up for. This may be a specialist kitchen, curved work, or in situations such as heritage restoration when the work needs to match existing details.
